I mostly knew her as a person in my present, until the girlfriend dinner and sleepover at Stephanie's. When we started talking about who we were in the 70s, she became even more intriguing to me. The stories about al fresco dinners, dressed in evening gowns and gloves... followed by water skiing again in evening gowns and gloves. How marvellous! ... ‘Its really quite easy once you get the hang of it’ she explained. And then the absolute joy she exuded when describing her pivotal 70's wardrobe piece ... her loons - tight to the knee and then flared and embroidered.
